Sing 2 is another movie that I watched during the Christmas season. Its story is simple - The ever-optimistic koala, Buster Moon, and his cast have big dreams of
staging their most dazzling show yet in the glittering entertainment
capital of the world, Redshore City. There's just one hitch: They must
persuade the world's most reclusive rock star, Clay Calloway, to join
them. Sing 2 has lots of classic rock and pop hit songs, electrifying performances, breathtaking artistry and Illumination. Here is Sing 2 trailer:

I watched this movie, Family Switch, on Netflix just a few days ago. It's so hilarious, it is about a family descends into chaos days right before Christmas when a rare cosmic event causes the parents to swap bodies with their teenage kids.
I kept on laughing when I watched this movie. Today, it is NO. 5 in Kids Today. Here is its official trailer & its song - Santa Claus is coming to town.
It is important to note that these are just predictions and not guarantees. The stock market can be volatile and unpredictable, so it is always a good idea to consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
Then, I asked Google AI (Bard): What will be the US stock market in 2024? (12/28/2023) Here is its answer:
Predicting the future of the stock market is notoriously difficult, and any projection about what it will be like in 2024 comes with a heavy dose of uncertainty. However, based on current economic indicators and expert analysis, here are some possible scenarios:
Optimistic scenario:
Economic soft landing: If the Federal Reserve successfully manages to bring down inflation without triggering a recession, this could lead to a continued, albeit slower, pace of economic growth. This could be positive for corporate earnings and boost stock prices.
Interest rate cuts: If the Fed deems inflation under control and economic growth slowing, it could start cutting interest rates in the second half of 2024.
This could make stocks more attractive compared to other investments
and incentivize investors to put money back into the market.
Continued corporate earnings growth: If companies can maintain or even exceed analysts' expectations for earnings growth, this could support higher stock prices. This is more likely in sectors that benefit from a slower but still growing economy, such as healthcare, consumer staples, and some technology companies.
Neutral scenario:
Modest gains: Even without a boom, the stock market could still experience moderate gains in 2024, perhaps in the range of 5-10%, as economic conditions remain stable. This is the most commonly predicted scenario by financial analysts.
Volatility: Regardless of the overall direction of the market, periods of volatility are likely throughout the year, fueled by geopolitical events, central bank decisions, and other unforeseen events.
Pessimistic scenario:
Economic recession: If the Fed's efforts to control inflation lead to a significant slowdown in economic activity, this could trigger a recession. This would likely lead to a decline in corporate earnings and a significant drop in stock prices.
Geopolitical risks: Escalating global tensions or unexpected events could also lead to market turbulence and potentially a downturn.
It's important to remember that these are just a few possible scenarios, and the actual performance of the stock market in 2024 could be significantly different. Here are some additional factors to keep in mind:
The US presidential election: 2024 is an election year, which can introduce additional uncertainty to the market. The policies of the two major candidates could have a significant impact on the economy and the stock market.
Unforeseen events: Unexpected events, such as natural disasters or major global conflicts, can also have a significant impact on the market.
Ultimately, the best way to prepare for the 2024 stock market is to diversify your portfolio across different asset classes and sectors, avoid taking unnecessary risks, and stay informed about economic and political developments.
Stock market outlook: 2024 will be 'year 2 of normalization...and cyclical bull market': BMO The S&P 500 could drop to 3,500 by mid-2024, says JPMorgan's Jason Hunter
A few minutes later, I asked Bing AI again, here is the reply:
Bard's reply:
In last few years, I have learned that geopolitical events and pandemic infections can offer a strong impact on the market.
Molly Sandén
was born on 3 July 1992 in Sweden. She is an actress and composer, known
for Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020), Quicksand

She's a fantastic actress, and I particularly loved her performance in Last Christmas. She brought so much heart and vulnerability to the role of Kate, and her on-screen chemistry with Henry Golding was undeniable. Plus, her singing! Who knew she had such a beautiful voice?
The film itself is such a charming and heartwarming holiday gem. It's funny, touching, and ultimately hopeful, and it never fails to put me in the Christmas spirit. I particularly love the message of second chances and the importance of embracing life, even amidst loss and difficulties. The story of the movie has been posted just two days ago here, I am not going to repeat. However, I would like to recommend some other movies with a similar feel to you:
The Andrich family is having a Christmas service
where little Katarina is singing in the choir. Her
parents Petra and Ivan, plus Katarina's
older sister Marta watch and admire her singing, while
Marta is admiring one of the other choir girls.
London, England 2017
Katarina
now goes by Kate. She has become
distant from her family. Kate works at a Christmas shop as an
elf, working for a woman who sees
potential in Kate but is annoyed at her constant screw-ups. One day, Kate meets a man named
Tom Webster. Kate finds him charming, if not a bit odd. Later, she
learns that Tom volunteers at a homeless shelter in his spare time. The
night ends with them entering an ice skating rink. They have a good time
until a security guard kicks them out. On
another outing with Tom, Kate
tells him about an illness she had in which she required a heart
transplant and it made her feel bad about herself, in that she was
"half-dead" due to needing help.
Kate joins her family for dinner. Marta makes things
tense by suggesting that Kate always acts helpless after the illness.
Kate goes to the homeless shelter to look for Tom. She ends up getting roped into volunteering and helping out, and
later even sets up a bucket outside while dressed as an elf to sing
Christmas carols.
Kate starts to try and do right by other
people, starting with her family. She apologizes to Marta and finally
meets Alba, albeit under tense circumstances. Later on the bus, Kate sees a Yugoslavian couple get harassed by a
racist guy. Kate sits by them and speaks to them in their native tongue,
telling them that they are welcome there, and she introduces herself as
Katarina. She even does better at work and bonds with Santa.
Kate
later goes by Tom's apartment to visit him, she realizes that he passed
away a year ago. LAST CHRISTMAS, Tom gave Kate his
heart.
Sometime
later, Kate has helped put on a Christmas show with the help of the
patrons of the homeless shelter. She wears a festive dress as her family
comes to see her, and they all perform "Last Christmas."
Zhang Wuji spent only half episode for understanding The Great Shift, while I will need lots of time to understand AI, for sure. Right now, my head is full of foggy water (I am confused about AI)
Google expanded access to Bard a few months ago, an early experiment that lets you collaborate with generative AI. From the referenec, Bard is powered by a large language model, which is a type of machine learning model that has become known for its ability to generate natural-sounding language. That’s why we often hear it described interchangeably as “generative AI.” Then what a generative AI is!
The author from the reference article interviewed Douglas Eck, a senior research director at Google for understanding more about generative AI. Doug works at the forefront of AI, and he has a background in literature and music research. First, let us understand what AI exactly is.
AI is a broad term often used to describe all sorts of advanced computer systems, particularly “machine learning.” Most of what we see in AI is in fact machine learning: endowing computer systems with the ability to learn from examples.
The author calls machines programmed to learn from examples “neural networks.” One main way they learn is by being given lots of examples to learn from, like being told what’s in an image — experts call this classification. If we want to teach a network how to recognize an elephant, that would involve a human introducing the network to lots of examples of what an elephant looks like and tagging those photos accordingly. That’s how the model learns to distinguish between an elephant and other details in an image.
Language models are another type of neural network. Language models basically predict what word comes next in a sequence of words. The experts train these models on large volumes of text so they better understand what word is likely to come next. One way — but not the only way — to improve a language model is by giving it more “reading” — or training it on more data — kind of like how we learn from the materials we study. If we started to type the phrase, “Mary kicked a…,” a language model trained on enough data could predict, “Mary kicked a ball.” Without enough training, it may only come up with a “round object” or only its color “yellow.” The more data involved in training the language model, the more nuanced it becomes, and the better chance it has the insight to know exactly what Mary is most likely to have kicked.
In the last several years, there have been major breakthroughs in how the experts achieve better performance in language models, from scaling their size to reducing the amount of data required for certain tasks.
Language models are already out there helping people — we see them show up with Smart Compose and Smart Reply in Gmail, for instance. And language models power Bard as well.
A generative model can take what it has learned from the examples it’s been shown and create something entirely new based on that information. Hence the word “generative!” Large language models (LLMs) are one type of generative AI since they generate novel combinations of text in the form of natural-sounding language. And experts can even build language models to generate other types of outputs, such as new images, audio and even video, like with Imagen, AudioLM and Phenaki.
There’s a huge potential for the creative field — think of it as removing some of the repetitive drudgery of mundane tasks like generating drafts, and not encroaching on their innate creativity. generative AI functions in the same way one might think of the arrival of the drum machine decades ago. The drum machine generated a rhythm that was different from what human drummers sounded like, and that fueled entirely new genres of music.
